Nah…I’m not trying to give advice about living your life.  You can make it as complicated as you like. I choose no complications, no trepidations, no bad relations, no tight situations, and no shaky foundations.  I prefer long vacations, quiet mediations, gentle relaxations, and daily somnambulations.

I like every definition in the dictionary for the word, simple.                                                     sim·ple

1. easy to understand, deal with, use, etc.: a simple matter; simple tools.

2.not elaborate or artificial; plain: a simple style.

3. not ornate or luxurious; unadorned: a simple gown.

4. unaffected; unassuming; modest: a simple manner.

5. not complicated: a simple design.

When five guys who love to play music get together and play in tune, play together in time and “keep it simple”— magic can happen.  We’re all “easy to deal with” –“not artificial” –“not ornate” –“not complicated.” We’re simple.

We’re the Fat Daddy Blue Band and we invite anyone in the Bako area to come out to the MarketPlace tomorrow night, Thursday, August 2nd, 7pm,  and keep it simple with us.  It will be 80 degrees, no humidity and a nice breeze blowing around the fountain, so let us entertain you.  It will also be the FIRST of TWO full moons in August.  Howl With Fat Daddy!

We’ll also feature Mr. Paul Perez, the master of saxophone.  He has been featured with Tower of Power and Smokey Robinson and now the Fat Daddy Blues Band.

Give us a listen (minus sax) as we KEEP IT SIMPLE.

Listen to the great guitar work of Laurence; the solid bass guitar of Dave and the steady drum beats of Sam.  I’m doing the vocals and keyboard.  ENJOY! (go ahead….turn it UP)

  1. You bet we’ll be there! You guys always put on a great show, and Paul Perez is an outstanding addition to the group. The things he does to that poor sax surely violate the Geneva Convention…
